Little Monkey-Monk

Manu's new favorite toy is this little soft monkey that someone from Schuler's gave us. He grabs it and hugs it and sucks on its ears, just like what I do to him! (Picture of that coming soon)
The quilt in one of the photos below was made by Sheila and is absolutely beautiful (hopefully you can see the detail of the fabric if you click on it and see a big version of the photo).
Manu's laughing a lot, he's trying to move around whenever possible, and he LOVES books! He's wearing 6-9 month-old clothes cuz he's SO big (27 inches, almost 18 lbs). Can't wait for everyone to meet this little sweetie!

We finally got the pictures off our camera! Some of these were taken quite a while ago. Look at Mr. Fat Cheeks! Allan's holding him up on the ironing board to show off the big boy outfit he wore to Elaine's wedding. How mean, huh?
Manu seems so big to me until I see him held by his Daddy! He smiles and coos all the time now, we're just waiting to hear that first giggle (and I'm going back to work next week, so I might miss it...boo).
I love that I get to wake up with this little treasure every day and find something new to learn and talk about!
